Solar Installer

Green Attic is hiring a full-time Solar Installer to join our roofing and solar team in the Chicagoland area. We are looking for someone reliable, safety-minded, and experienced with solar panel installation. Roofing experience is a plus.

Location: 409 W Algonquin Rd, Mount Prospect, IL 60056
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Location: In-person, jobsite-based
Service Area: Chicagoland
Pay: Based on experience

Responsibilities:

Install solar panels and related mounting systems
Assist with roof layout, racking, wiring support, and equipment setup
Work safely on roofs, ladders, and outdoor jobsites
Load, unload, and organize materials and tools
Follow crew lead instructions and company safety procedures
Keep jobsites clean and professional
Report jobsite issues, material needs, or safety concerns

Requirements:

Solar installation experience required
Roofing experience is a plus
Comfortable working on roofs and ladders
Able to lift 60+ lbs
Reliable, punctual, and available for early morning starts
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
Must be willing to complete a background check and drug test

We are looking for someone dependable, coachable, and ready for steady field work with long-term growth potential.

Pay: $19.00 - $35.00 per hour
