Position Overvie

wBrooksource is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee field construction activities for utility-scale solar power projects. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, quality, schedule, budget, and contractor performance objectives are met throughout all phases of construction

.The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in solar power plant construction, contractor management, and field operations leadership within large-scale industrial or power generation environments

.Key Responsibilitie

• sProvide field leadership to ensure construction activities meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget requirements
• .Manage multiple construction contracts and determine the most effective contract execution strategies
• .Review project designs and provide constructability feedback during the planning and engineering phases
• .Assess staffing requirements and monitor contractor workforce levels to ensure efficient project execution
• .Lead and develop construction supervisors and contractor personnel while promoting a strong safety culture
• .Coordinate with project managers, plant leadership, engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure project success
• .Review and evaluate contract change requests, extras, and scope modifications in collaboration with Project Controls
• .Support storm preparedness and restoration efforts for assigned project locations
• .Monitor contractor performance, productivity, and compliance with company standards and safety requirements
• .Ensure all construction activities adhere to applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements

.Required Qualification

• sHigh School Diploma or GED required
• .15+ years of related construction, maintenance, or power generation experience
• .Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience leading construction teams and contractors
• .Direct experience supporting utility-scale solar power plant construction projects
• .Strong knowledge of construction management practices, safety programs, and construction codes and standards
• .Proven experience managing multiple projects, competing priorities, and large contractor workforces
• .Excellent communication, leadership, team-building, and stakeholder management skills
• .Experience driving project execution while maintaining safety, quality, and operational excellence

.Preferred Qualification

• sBachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Business, or a related field
• .Experience managing heavy industrial construction or large-scale energy projects
• .Previous project management experience within power generation or renewable energy environments

.Work Environmen

• tFrequent travel between solar project sites in Polk and Manatee Counties
• .Ability to provide support for project and plant operations, including occasional after-hours and emergency response needs
• .Work performed in outdoor environments, including hot, humid, wet, and cold weather conditions
• .Exposure to power generation facilities and elevated noise environments
• .Ability to walk, climb stairs, bend, and navigate active construction sites throughout the workday
• .Must be able to work from elevated platforms and within confined spaces while following all safety requirements
