Bilingual Service Technician

Leadsun USA is seeking a reliable, hands-on, and technically skilled Bilingual Field Service Technician (English/Mandarin) for a full-time position based in Ontario, California.

This role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, testing, and support of SMART solar lighting systems, battery systems, and related electrical equipment. The ideal candidate is technically inclined, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in renewable energy and smart infrastructure technologies.

The position involves regular communication with our product and engineering teams in China, making fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese essential.

This position offers long-term growth opportunities within Leadsun USA, including advancement into senior technical, field service, operations, and product support roles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot SMART solar lighting systems and electrical assemblies

• Perform repairs, testing, quality checks, and system improvements

• Support technical analysis and problem-solving for low-voltage solar battery and lighting technologies

• Assist with technical product evaluations and operational support

• Communicate technical information and issues with our product and engineering teams in China

• Read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, wiring diagrams, and system drawings

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe technical work areas

• Support additional technical and operational tasks as needed

Preferred Experience

• Electronics troubleshooting and repair

• Low-voltage electrical systems

• Battery systems and charging systems

• Solar energy systems

• Multimeter and electrical testing equipment

• Reading schematics and wiring diagrams

• Field service, technical support, or repair experience

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written)

• Strong problem-solving and hands-on technical skills

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Valid driver's license required

• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed

Recent graduates, experienced technicians, and candidates with backgrounds in electronics, electrical technology, electromechanical systems, battery technology, solar energy, or related technical fields are encouraged to apply.
