Assistant Project Manager, Solar Construction (onsite)

A leading EPC contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the execution of large-scale energy and industrial construction projects. This individual will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to help drive project delivery from construction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in the planning, execution, and closeout of construction projects
• Assist with project scheduling, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project objectives are achieved
• Track project progress and help identify and resolve schedule or budget impacts
• Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
• Monitor project safety, quality, and compliance requirements
• Assist with procurement activities and material tracking
• Support project meetings and maintain accurate project records and reports
• Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction project management experience
• Ability to be onsite in West Texas permanently
• Experience supporting industrial, energy, utility, electrical, or EPC construction projects preferred
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and project controls
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, field-based environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
