Field Service Representative – LV/MV Solar Technician (Traveling)
Position Overview Aurora is seeking qualified Field Service Representatives to support low and medium voltage electrical work across utility-scale solar sites nationwide. This role involves hands-on field service, supporting installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and general service activities on solar and associated electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform field service work on LV and MV electrical systems within solar sites.
- Support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar equipment and components.
- Assist with inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues including inverters, combiner boxes, and balance of system components.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and procedures.
- Complete field reports and required documentation accurately.
- Follow NFPA 70E, OSHA, and applicable electrical safety standards at all times.
- Travel to job sites as required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with low and/or medium voltage electrical systems.
- Background in solar, renewable energy, or similar field service work.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and single-line diagrams.
- Willingness to travel nationwide for field assignments.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to work outdoors, lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks.
