Descripción del puesto
Role: Construction Manager
Location: Travel / Rotational
Salary Range: $130,000 – $150,000
Renewyx is representing a globally established EPC contractor that is actively expanding its project delivery team across the United States. This organisation brings extensive international experience in the delivery of large-scale renewable energy infrastructure and is now deploying that expertise across the US market, with a strong and growing pipeline of utility-scale solar and BESS developments. They offer a structured, well-resourced working environment where experienced construction leaders can take full ownership of high-value project delivery from day one.
They are seeking a Construction Manager to join their team on a rotational basis to support the delivery of a 250MW solar PV & BESS development in New Mexico. Operating on a four weeks on, one week off schedule, you will lead all aspects of EPC construction execution onsite, coordinating superintendents, foremen, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, while managing schedule, cost tracking, QA/QC, and HSE compliance. You will also review drawings, RFIs, and submittals for constructability, manage materials and logistics, and support client reporting and project invoicing throughout the project lifecycle.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience on utility-scale solar projects is a firm requirement for this role, alongside at least 5 years of construction management experience overall. This organisation is building a high-performing US team and needs proven operators who can hit the ground running on a live 250MW project. Candidates who do not meet both thresholds are unlikely to be the right fit.
This is a compelling opportunity to join a well-capitalised global contractor at an exciting point in its US growth journey, working on a flagship project in the Southwest with a clear long-term pipeline beyond it. The rotational schedule offers strong work-life structure, and the organisation provides full logistical support for field-based team members.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- 5+ years of construction management experience, with a minimum of 3 years specifically on utility-scale solar PV projects
- Proven ability to lead full EPC construction execution on large-scale renewable energy projects, coordinating across superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, and suppliers
- Experience managing schedule, productivity, cost tracking, and project controls in a field leadership capacity
- OSHA 30 certification is strongly preferred; OSHA 10 is acceptable at the point of hire
- An electrical background is preferred and will be a meaningful differentiator in this process
- Proficiency in MS Project or Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with Procore, BIM 360, or similar construction management platforms is advantageous
- Strong understanding of QA/QC, HSE, and contract compliance requirements on utility-scale EPC projects
- Experience supporting client reporting, progress tracking, and project invoicing
- Full willingness and flexibility to work a four weeks on, one week off national rotation
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across diverse field and office-based teams
