Overview

AstroGen LLC is seeking a motivated and professional Generator Sales Representative to help homeowners and business owners protect their properties with standby power solutions. This position is responsible for meeting with prospective customers, conducting site evaluations, presenting generator solutions, and closing sales.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to build trust with customers. Experience in generator sales, home improvement sales, solar, roofing, HVAC, electrical, or in-home sales is highly preferred.
Responsibilities

  • Meet with homeowners and business owners to discuss standby generator solutions.
  • Conduct on-site consultations and property evaluations.
  • Assess customer power needs and recommend appropriate generator systems.
  • Prepare and present proposals and financing options.
  • Follow up on leads provided by the company and self-generated opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers throughout the sales process.
  • Coordinate with installation and operations teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions within the CRM.
  • Attend networking events, home shows, and community events as needed.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals.
  • Represent AstroGen professionally and positively at all times.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience required.
  • In-home sales experience preferred.
  • Experience in generators, HVAC, electrical, roofing, solar, construction, or home services is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working evenings and occasional weekends as needed.
  • Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and CRM software.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
