Director of Treasury

A leading utility-scale solar and storage IPP with 12 GW of development assets is hiring a Director of Treasury to own day-to-day cash management, debt compliance, and banking operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role at a company actively constructing projects and advancing a gigawatt of capacity into pre-construction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily cash positioning, payments, and cash flow forecasting
• Lead the monthly flow-of-funds process for construction and operational projects, including draw packages, borrowing certificates, and distribution certificates
• Oversee debt compliance program and reconcile debt service payments against bank invoices
• Manage interest rate and FX exposure, including hedge execution
• Maintain all bank account relationships and online banking platforms
• Manage collateral requirements — Letters of Credit and Surety Bonds
• Support project financing closings by identifying and implementing treasury requirements in advance
• Assist with quarterly SOX testing and internal controls
• Hire, develop, and supervise treasury team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
• 8–12 years of relevant treasury experience
• Experience in the energy industry preferred; public company experience a plus
• Familiarity with project finance structures and construction draw processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; treasury software implementation experience a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
