Job Overview:

Job Summary**

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across various projects. This role requires an individual who is eligible to drive and possesses a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and local electrical codes.
  • Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and diagnostic tests on electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Connect power to various equipment and systems, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
  • Install and maintain lighting systems, power distribution systems, and control panels.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Operate and maintain a company vehicle, ensuring it is in good working order and transporting tools and materials efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other trades on job sites.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including work orders, inspection reports, and material requisitions.

Job Qualifications**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program is preferred.
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification as required by local regulations.
  • Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably within a construction or industrial setting.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate company vehicles.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC), safety standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, ammeters, continuity testers).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions.
