Battery Storage Technician – Solar Backup Systems

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Battery Storage Technician specializing in Solar Backup Systems to join our dynamic renewable energy team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting battery storage systems that provide reliable backup power for solar energy setups. Duties

• Install, inspect, and troubleshoot battery storage systems integrated with solar backup solutions, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately assemble and modify electrical components.
• Perform wiring and connections involving high voltage and low voltage circuits, adhering strictly to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Use hand tools, power tools, roofing equipment, plumbing tools, and forklifts to facilitate installation and maintenance tasks on various construction sites.
• Conduct routine system diagnostics and repairs to optimize performance and extend system lifespan.
• Collaborate with construction teams during site setup, fixture installation, and system commissioning to ensure seamless integration.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports, troubleshooting logs, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a commercial electrician or in electrical roles involving high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems.
• Strong understanding of schematics, blueprints reading, and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with NEC standards related to solar energy systems and battery storage installations.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, roofing techniques, plumbing basics, and forklift operation on construction sites.
• Knowledge of fixture installation processes within electrical or roofing projects is a plus.
• Ability to read technical manuals and follow detailed instructions accurately.
