Essential Job Duties
The Temporary Inventory Assistants are needed for a
short-term, two-day project to assist with the cleanup, inventorying, and reorganization of our solar training yard. Working under the direct guidance of permanent instructors and staff, the successful candidates will help clear out an existing storage container, identify and box up outdated equipment for university surplus, and safely relocate viable assets to a new storage
facility

Requirements and Preferences
Work Schedule Monday and Tuesday, 16 hours per week
Other Work/Responsibilities
Minimum Experience/Education
High School Diploma (or equivalent) and experience
performing physical labor, warehouse tasks, or inventory
organization.
Department Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience in general labor,
warehouse operations, inventory organization, or a
physically demanding work environment.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy, oversized
objects (up to 50 lbs) using proper lifting techniques.
- Ability to understand and follow precise verbal
sorting instructions to accurately differentiate
between equipment to keep, surplus, or discard.]
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills
to effectively work in a multi-person team-lift
environment.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, material
handling, or facilities cleanup, preferably within an
educational, industrial, or solar/renewable energy
setting.
- Basic familiarity with electrical hardware.
- Active OSHA 10-Hour General Industry
